isango! is a fast growing online travel company based in Belgravia. Unlike most other travel businesses that are built around logistics of travel, isango! focus on customers “reasons for travel”. isango! products range from the mild (sightseeing tours - walking, biking, segway or the open top bus) to the wild (river rafting in the Ganges in India, pub crawls in Berlin, Jack the Ripper tour in London). isango! was voted the Rising Brand of the Year in 2009 by Travolution. With more than 5,000 tours and activities in 65 countries, isango! are in the process of launching various types of landing pages for their customers and have ramped up their PR and editorial team.

Reporting to the Vice President- Commercial, the Journalism Intern would be creating editorial content that emphasizes isango! products and destinations and engages customers in a context by adding value to their trip planning. A passion for travel and writing and curiosity about search engine optimization (SEO) and e-commerce is what isango! are looking for in the Journalism-Intern.

Key Responsibilities

• Research various isango! product and destinations
• Write editorial features for the blog, destination stores and other landing pages
• Adopt SEO best practices while writing the editorial features.
• Monitor traffic and user experience and refine the editorial features on a periodic basis
• Collaborate with other businesses and bloggers to build links and increase the SEO value of isango! pages
