Dow Jones seeks a correspondent for our one-person bureau in Greece. The position requires a self-starter who can conceive and execute coverage of the Greek economy, companies and government for both Dow Jones Newswires and the Wall Street Journal.
The job requires fluent written and spoken Greek and English, as well as an understanding of financial and political concepts. The successful candidate will be an experienced journalist, with proficient writing skills. He/she will have the proven ability to produce scoops and insightful and enterprising stories.
The correspondent coordinates from a distance with both newspaper and real-time editors, and with other Dow Jones reporters outside Greece. The successful candidate must be cool under fire and produce fast and accurate stories on breaking news.
