Wanted: fashion intern for trends publication LS:N Global
Do you obsessively follow the catwalks and showrooms each season? Do you like to know about the most exciting new designers? And can you contextualize the trends you notice within the wider culture? If so, LS:N Global needs you.
The lifestyle news network from leading trends agency The Future Laboratory, LS:N Global reports on tomorrow’s consumer and business trends today. In doing so, we provide information, insight and inspiration for our members from around the world, including Burberry, Philips, Louis Vuitton, Nokia and Selfridges.
Ideally you will be a fashion student or graduate, looking to develop your trend analysis skills. Your job will be to assist the fashion editor, offering ideas for trends, and backing up with insight as to why the trend is happening, and working out what that tells us about consumers today and tomorrow. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- scanning blogs, websites and what’s trending on Twitter for details on fashion shows
- finding the best new and emerging designers
- calling fashion houses for images
- interviewing designers, buyers
- writing up your notes, ideally to a publishable quality
- identifying new trends
Our office, between Spitalfields and Shoreditch, is a really fun, creative, collaborative work environment, featuring our own canteen, bike parking space, roof terrace, vertical garden, beehive and pinball machine.

This is not a paid position. However, we do pay for travel expenses within London.
