The INQUIRER is seeking a News Editor with a passion for technology to take a key role in its team.

Based in Incisive Media’s Soho offices, the role involves keeping this highly technical audience up to date on all the latest technology news, from chips and operating systems through to tablets and storage kit, and also helping its team of writers dig out the best news tips.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be an experienced technology writer or section editor who has the capability to manage the The INQUIRER’s news output from day one, and the ambition to become Deputy Editor. They will have a high level of technical understanding, a strong news sense, and excellent editing and writing ability.

Having the confidence to manage a team of freelancers, and interview and develop relationships with senior industry contacts, is vital. Equally important is an ability to form an opinion on technology products and issues.
